2011 Region VIII Men's Gymnastics Championship
  
It is with great pride, pleasure, and honor that Meet Control has been selected to host the 2011 Region VIII Men's Gymnastics Championships. This event will take place at the Jackson Convention Complex April 8-10, 2011. Region 8 Championships will be conducted using the Modified Capitol Cup format, also known as A/B format (more on that below).

For the second time, Region VIII will utilize the A/B format, which will provide viewing of the entire competition, warm ups as well as competition! A sample diagram of the floor layout for 2011 Men's Region VIII Championships is on the next page!

Qualifying Procedure!
To ensure fair and adequate distribution of participants at each level at the 2011 Regional Championships, the region uses the same allotment system used to determine qualifiers to JO Nationals. Based on total numbers of registered athletes in Region VIII, each state will have a number of allotted slots at regionals at each level! Click for allotment numbers!

The Equipment
Ross Athletic is the official equipment provider for the 2010 Region VIII Men's Gymnastics Championships. The site will feature two full sets of equipment (including two, full size 45' x 45' spring floors!). Scoring by Meet Control, for efficient, accurate and spectator friendly scoring!
